Disable Web Push Notifications on Google Chrome

You can disable web push notifications on Google Chrome by following these steps mentioned below: 

  1. At first, launch Chrome and select the vertical ellipsis menu icon.
  2. When you see a pull-down menu, choose the Settings option.
  3. You should move down until you see the section of the ‘Privacy and Security’ option and pick the Site Settings option.
  4. Beneath the Permissions section, choose the Notifications option.
  5. Underneath the section of Allow, locate the problematic URL, and choose the vertical ellipsis menu icon.
  6. Then hit on the Block button.
  7. You may also select the ‘Use quieter messaging (blocks notification prompts from interrupting you)’ option.

Disable Push Notifications on Mozilla Firefox

You can disable push notifications on Mozilla Firefox by following these steps mentioned below: 

  1. Launch the Firefox browser and choose the hamburger menu icon on the top right side of the screen.
  2. Once invoke the menu grid, choose the Options button.
  3. After opening the Settings, select the ‘Privacy & Security’ option.
  4. You should move down until you see the Permissions section. There you need to go to Notifications and select the Settings option beside it.
  5. You will now see the website URLs list and their notification status.

Disable Desktop Notifications on Safari

You can disable push notifications on Mozilla Firefox by following these steps mentioned below: 

  1. Open the Safari menu, and then click on the Preferences option.
  2. Then go to the tab of Websites and then click on the Notifications option.
  3. Click on the websites list.
  4. You should find the problematic site, click on the pull-down, and select the Deny option instead of Allow.

Delete Push Notifications via Android (Chrome)

  1. Launch Chrome and select the Settings option.
  2. You should choose the Settings option and then choose the Notifications option.
  3. You should move down to the section of Sites.
  4. Now, find the unnecessary URL and switch the toggle to disable it.
